TarnLog
Updated 15 June 2026
I am currently developing a minimalist, vintage-aesthetic, multi-platform application called TarnLog. TarnLog's purpose will be to log things locally, offline, on your device, completely in your control—things like notes, to-dos, collections, lists, and personal data. Manual imports and exports of app data will be supported, making it easy to transfer logs to another device on any platform.
The name TarnLog is simply a combination of the words "tarn" (a small steep-banked mountain lake or pool) and "log" (to make a note or record of). Together, the two words create a unique name that specifies the application's core function while alluding to a certain timeless, remote beauty. If you have never visited a tarn, go visit one.
